It's really awesome to have lots of encouters prepared in advance for every situation possible. Also, as a DM, I find it very immersive for players to have monsters in their environments. This Deck helps a lot with that since the monsters are all separated into different categories of environment, which helps a lot when you don't have time to read a monster's usual location!

These are really cool. The best part is the description. Sometimes I only use them for the details. I will look at them and make the encounter based off of the card and then use the way they describe the sounds and looks to immerse my players deeper. Some are pretty bad a.. and I would not have thought about describing the creatures or its sounds that way. Great tool.

Long treks through dark places or mountains? Have something extra for the players to do.

Want to design a dungeon on your own? Draw some cards and build it out from there.

Take the mental load off the DM and just have some encounters ready to fly at any time.

Cards of high quality with appropriate creatures and encounters on each for all levels of play.

Great Wandering Monster Decks! Glad I decided to go with these, they make my life as a DM so much easier when my players go off track or I didn't prepare enough.

Since I've purchased these cards I've admittedly become a bit lazy in my encounter planning. I would have to say that roughly 85% of encounters in our campaign now are from a draw from the deck, quite often on the fly. I feel the more random elements to the game the better, now if only I could find a random room generator deck of the same quality and format.
