What's Inside
30 finely crafted NPCs, each statted out at levels 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20, producing 180 unique characters. From high command to the cook's tent, you get soldiers, auxiliaries, and noncombatants with backstories, personality traits, and roleplaying cues.
The characters are divided into three sections by alignment, ten good, ten neutral, and ten evil, each opening with the guilds and factions those characters belong to. Unique magic items and spells appear throughout. Because every character is statted at six points across their career, the same person can recur as your party levels without you rebuilding anything.
Why Both Formats
The hardcover is for reading and for having open at the table; the PDF is for jumping straight to the right stat block mid-session and copying statistics into a virtual tabletop. The bundle costs less than buying the two separately.
