What Each Chapter Gives You
Every chapter opens with the lore and ecology of its creature type, then supplies the tools to actually run them at the table. Encounter group tables let you roll a ready-made warband or pick one to suit your party, with the challenge ratings already added together so you can see at a glance what the group is worth. Loot drop tables tell you what the creatures are carrying when the fight ends, so treasure comes out of the encounter rather than out of thin air.
Stat blocks span the full range of challenge levels, from the first goblin a level one party stumbles into up to threats that test a late-campaign group, each with its own artwork.
