Why the Cards
Draw one card from each prompt category and lay the item out on the table: what it looks like, what it does, where it came from, and where it is now. Swap any card that doesn't fit your world. Because the prompts describe concepts rather than stat blocks, the deck works with any system, and it uses the same four categories as the original deck, so owners of both can draw from a larger prompt pool.
