Critical Rolls is a 5E D&D card deck box set from Nord Games, collecting five 60-card tarot-sized decks for critical hits, critical fails, and good and bad luck.
Critical Rolls introduces a variety of new effects to the triumphant natural 20 and the dreaded natural 1, including critical hit effects for GMs and players, critical fails, and a good and bad luck mechanic for criticals rolled in and out of combat.
This boxed set contains five 60-card tarot-sized decks, including:
- Critical Fails — results for melee, ranged, natural, and magic attacks
- Critical Hits for GMs — results for slashing, piercing, bludgeoning, and magic damage
- Critical Hits for Players — results for slashing, piercing, bludgeoning, and magic damage
- Fates (Bad Luck) — bad luck results, each with an in-combat and an out-of-combat option
- Fortunes (Good Luck) — good luck results, each with an in-combat and an out-of-combat option

I bought this for my son and my son's best friend. They love it. They use it all the time but a lot of the cards are very situational so they don't necessarily use it the way it should be used.
I'm looking forward to utilizing it in upcoming campaign. Alternative critical hits and misses, successes and failures will add variety.
I like it a lot but question how much I will actually use it. I will have to see.

There are so many great options in the decks! And its so easy to customize based on the game you're running. So excited to incorporate these into my games!!!
