I haven’t read the entire book yet, but I am about half-way through and it’s enough for me to feel confident about rating the book. Overland travel is an element that I (and I suspect many other) DMs struggle with. Making travel entertaining and just dangerous enough to avoid it becoming a slog or even irritating to the players is a razors edge and this book really provided with me some tools and ideas I hadn’t thought or had, but wasn’t able to fully conceptualize them. If you’re a DM that wants to do more than basically handwave travel from one location to the next, check this book out.

Great book! Love how detailed it gets for forest travel and dangers along with different types of forests.
