Glad to know some company thought of my desire to add mahogany cabinets to the noble-princess’s room. And yes, you probably have seen my other reviews by this point, I decided to mix it up, and let you know I’m not some auto-pilot bot or something because, hey, they made like, 10 of these. My fingers hurt from the typing, anyway:
I got all the asset and map packs, not so that you don’t have to, but, because you should.
Each art piece is crisp, clean, and snaps like a dream in roll20. Don’t play online? Well all of them are saved to your computer upon purchase and you can print them out on card-stock to use in your live games.
Though if you are playing online, you’ll notice a few other features that are SURPRISINGLY well thought out. Actually transparent shadows? Above layer effects like foam, light, growths, dirt, and so forth? All little details that give genuine dimension to your otherwise flat maps.
And if you just don’t have the time or energy (like I do when coming from work and trying to DM the next round), Nord already has a handful of example maps made up for you, with and without the grid, just to help you out in a pinch.
You can try to scour the internet and r/mapmaking for hours to get pieces or fully versed maps, just like me (with mixed success), or you save yourself all that hassle and pick up exactly the type of assets you need right now. Enjoy.
