Wondrous Worlds works at the macro scale: realms and the regions inside them, and how the land shapes the people on it. Environments and their consequences, trade routes and resources, the politics that grow out of them, and the magical and monstrous threats hanging over it all.
It also holds the landmarks. Every notable place on your map is a point of interest, in three kinds, landmarks, settlements, and destinations, and landmarks are covered here. A full section walks you through hand-drawing your world map, including the iconography to fill it out yourself.
It is the widest of three lenses, with Spectacular Settlements covering a single town or city and Dangerous Destinations covering a single site.
