The Fey Beckon
In the twilight of the trees, between uncounted standing stones, at the meeting of worlds where time grows strange, they sing their songs, and wait...
Ultimate Bestiary: Secrets of the Fey presents a variety of the classic fey and fairy tale creatures, including centaurs, fairies, merfolk, hags and nymphs, fleshing out their cultures, habits and habitats, and introducing a wealth of stat blocks to challenge your players from level one to the end of their adventuring careers.
So pass the threshold if you will, but make no deal, accept no gift and, above all, trust no fey.

A crazy collection of those being Beyond Fiddlers Green. Nice work on describing the factions and creatures behind the courts. Make even your elvish players nervous in the fairy wood.
Since its a Nord product i had super high expectations. its a good book, i was just expecting something else.
I just received my Kickstarter backer copy of The Ultimate Bestiary - Secrets of Fey. As I sat with it, I intending to skim its pages, but I was drawn into it for hours. And that is the peril of the fey after all. They draw you in by beguile your senses, then before you know it more time has passed than you imagined. The book is a great primer for the contrary, sometimes cruel, and often capricious creatures of the faerie realm. The sections are broken into creature types with a menagerie of each kind. No two faeries in an encounter have to work the same way. But it's not just a collection of stat-blocks, the book lavishly explains the creature's peculiarities and points of view. Thus, the Game Master can creature unique encounters featuring them. Each section ends with several stories to exemplify the creatures within it. Best of all was the section describing the Fey Court and Wild Hunt, and the faeries and fey that can be found therein. I knew this book was a treasure when I began to think of new scenarios and adventures ideas as I read through it.
