It is built to sit open on a crowded table and get flipped through during play. The worksheets in the back are printable, and if you would rather fill them in on a computer, the form-fillable versions are sold separately.

I was greatly surprised at how well the book was put together. From already created cities and settlements, down to creating your own. Many useful tables and guides on how to run a city. The book is awsome. A must have for DM's.

I wish there was more about how to narratively flesh out your settlement. Good tables with innovative ideas. The city/capital segment was most helpful to me
