Magic Item Compendium 1 Box Set is a 5E D&D magic item card set of 250 tarot-sized cards, compatible with the 2014 and 2024 rules. It gives game masters a deep catalog of enchanted gear to reward players and stock their hoards, covering all five rarities from common to legendary.

Five Decks of Fifty

The box is organized into five decks of fifty cards each: Weapons & Armor, Potions, Poultices & Powders, Rings & Wondrous Items, Rods, Staves & Wands, and Black Market Loot. Keep them sorted and pull from the right deck for the treasure you need, or shuffle a deck and draw for a random find.

Read the Rarity at a Glance

Every card's border is color-coded by rarity: steel for common, copper for uncommon, silver for rare, gold for very rare, and platinum for legendary. You can pull loot appropriate to your party's level without reading a word.

Hand the Loot Across the Table

Each card carries the item's full description, so when the party finds a magic sword you pass the card to the player instead of reading from a book. They hold their treasure, keep it in front of them, and never ask you to repeat what it does. Cards go back in the box when an item is sold or lost, so your catalog never wears out.

The same 250 items are also available as a searchable PDF, or as a bundle of both formats that costs less than buying them separately. The Black Market Loot deck's fifty items are additionally sold on their own as a standalone PDF, so if you own this box set you already have them.
